Karen Lynne White
Karen Lynne (Staudenmayer) White, 66, of Chico, California went to join her heavenly father on December 16, 2021. She was born on October 14, 1955, in Upland, California to Edward and Carol Staudenmayer. Karen attended Paradise High School, class of 1973. She was a cheerleader, and friend to many.
Karen was a loving, fun, caring person. She loved listening to music, especially nostalgic 60’s -80’s music. She spent most of her working years as a hairdresser in Chico, and was the owner of two different salons; Hair Se Bon in the 1990’s and in later years, Theodore Brandon’s. Her greatest joy in life was her two sons, James and Barrett. Karen loved all her family dearly, from aunts and uncles, to cousins, nieces, nephews, siblings, parents and grandparents. In recent years, her little Yorkie, Rocky was her little lovebug, and gave her much comfort. She loved collecting and displaying pictures of her family and close friends all throughout her home.
A few years after high school Karen moved to Hawaii for a while. She loved her time there, but missed her friends and family at home and returned to Chico. When her boys were little, she loved our big Staudenmayer family and friends camping trips. She was an avid water skier and could slalom ski like no other! Her fun spirit, zest for life and her love will be forever in our hearts. You are very loved, dear Karen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Staudenmayer, in 2004.
Survivors include two sons, James White of Austin, Texas and Barrett White of Reno, Nevada; her mother, Carol Fay, of Chico, California; two sisters, Cindy Johnson (Paul) of Orland, California, and Pam Hall (Don) of Paradise, California; one brother, Edward Staudenmayer II (Tom) of Patterson, New York; and her fiancé, Randy Garcia, of Magalia, California.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
