Beatrice Louise Miller
Mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and artist passed from this life peacefully on November 20, 2020. She was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on January 23, 1926 to Patricia and George Kohler. Her aunt and uncle, Billie and Charles Caldwell also helped raise her and her brother, Robert Kohler, throughout their younger years. In 1948, she married Jack Miller. Together, they had three children and were married for 33 years. After divorcing, they remained good friends until Jack preceded her in death in 2004.
Louise loved art of all kinds, especially painting, sculpting, pastels, and sketching. In her sixties, she returned to college and enrolled in all of the art programs that were available to her. She loved her time at Sierra College and Chico State.
She leaves behind her son, Jack Miller (Lilly), her daughter Janet Donnelly (Robert), and her daughter Sandra Burner. She loved her grandchildren dearly! They include Nathan Ingram, Jeff Donnelly, Josh Miller, Aaron Miller, Daniel Burner, Beth Mickiewicz, Adam Burner, and Natalie Keables. Additionally, she has 10 great- grandchildren with one on the way this December. They include, Kennedy and Lincoln Mickiewicz, Aiden, Connor and Stefan Burner, Holly and Abigail Louise Keables, Keston Miller, and Jonathan and William Ingram. She has blessed us all in her life and always tried to help when she could.
Thank you to all the caregivers at Chico Creek Care and Rehab for the care and devotion you gave to Louise the last few years, and especially this year with its challenges. Thank you to Butte Home Health and Hospice for your service in her last days.
