Anthony Thomas Holochwost Jr.
Tony moved his family to Butte County in 1972. He was a farrier/rancher in the area for about 30 years. During that time he and his wife Frederica also operated a horse boarding facility on their Durham property and started “Handi-Riders,” a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults, serving Butte, Glenn, and Tehama counties. Tony also served as a member of the Butte County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse for well over 20 years. In his later years of retirement he moved to Lake Almanor and then back to Magalia California.
