In 1930 the Chico Memorial Mausoleum was erected to serve
the needs of the community. Since then, new corridors have been added, creating Chico's only exclusive indoor
mausoleum and columbarium. Upon entering the mausoleum, you are greeted with a sweeping wall mural of the Last
Supper, and as you proceed past each corridor, there are beautiful stained glass windows, each with their own story.
The columbarium offers marble, bronze and glass face niches, and the mausoleum's exquisite Italian marble provides a
beautiful, lasting memory for family members down through the ages. For those who prefer clean, dry, and permanent
memorials, Chico Memorial Mausoleum is the area's finest. The choice for mausoleum burial is increasing, thus we
have an exciting new expansion plan for the near future.
"The Chapel of Light" at Chico
Memorial Mausoleum
|

|
The
Chapel of Light addition offers single crypts and three
different styles of companion crypts. Family areas can be chosen
easily, accommodating the personal preferences of everyone. The
glass-faced niche sections provide for individual personalization when
choosing cremation. The Chapel of Light offers an open area with skylights and a fountain surrounded in greenery, where you may choose to hold your service.
Isn't
Mausoleum expensive?
No. In the past, mausoleum
burial was associated with only the rich and famous. This is no
longer true!! Due to technological breakthroughs, it is possible to own a
crypt in this beautiful mausoleum for less or equal to earth burial.
Why
should we buy now?
First, be certain of getting crypts of your choice.
Second, it is always wiser and easier to select any type of
cemetery
property ahead of actual need.
Must we
pay in full at the time of purchase?
No, payments may be spread
over a length of time.

inside a glass or marble case.
Forever Remembered Tree
|
Another beautiful feature of the Chapel of Light is the "Forever Remembered"
Tree.
The individually engraved leaves bear the names of those who have been scattered at sea, or whose resting place is in another part of the
country.

|
Next to the "Forever Remembered" Tree is a soothing waterfall.
